🍳 Prep the Lauki Peel and grate the lauki. Squeeze out extra water using your hands (important — too much water makes it mushy). Roast in Ghee Heat ghee in a pan.
Roast in Ghee Heat ghee in a pan. Add the grated lauki and sauté on medium flame for about 7–8 minutes until it softens and the raw smell goes away.
Add Milk & Cook Pour in milk and cook on medium-low heat till the milk gets absorbed (about 10–12 minutes).
Sweeten & Flavor Add sugar and mix. Cook till it thickens again and ghee starts separating slightly.
Add khoya (if using) and mix well. Sprinkle cardamom powder. Add Dry Fruits Stir in chopped dry fruits (keep a few for garnishing).
Cook for another 2–3 minutes. Serve
Garnish with dry fruits and serve warm or chilled.
