Step 1
1. Dry roast sesame seeds in a wok on low flame till they’re slightly golden and fragrant. Off the flame, transfer to a plate and let cool completely.
Step 2
2. In the same wok, add grated mawa and cook on very low flame, stirring continuously, till it’s light golden. Add cocoa powder, mix well, and off the flame. Transfer to a mixing bowl and keep aside.

3. Grind completely cooled sesame seeds coarsely in a mixer jar, keeping 2-3 tsp whole sesame seeds aside.
Step 4
4. Add ground sesame seeds, whole sesame seeds, desi khand, and chocolate chips (keep 1 tsp aside for garnishing) to the mawa mixture. Mix all ingredients very well.
Step 5
5. Take small portions and shape into laddus. Garnish with remaining chocolate chips.
