Chocolate sponge: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Add milkmaid and butter. Bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes. Cool.

Butterscotch sponge: Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add milkmaid, butter, and butterscotch essence. Bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes. Cool.

Step 4

Assemble the jar cake:     – Place a piece of vanilla sponge in the jar.

Add whipped cream or butterscotch cream.

Step 6

Sprinkle crushed nuts.

Step 7

Place a piece of chocolate sponge.     – Add whipped cream/butterscotch cream.

Step 8

Add chocolate shavings.     – Place a piece of butterscotch sponge.

Add whipped cream.     – Decorate with KitKat, chocolate chips, cherry, and crushed nuts.     – Add edible gold dust (if using Total time: 1 hour 15 minutes
