Sabudana Khichdi

Step 1

Soak sabudana in an open vessel for at least 6 hours minimum. The water should be so that it covers the sabudana but not over them. Heat oil in a pan and add jeera and diced potatoes. Roast the potatoes until it becomes reddish brown and crisp.

Step 2

In soaked sabudana add salt ,sugar and lime juice ,mix well. Now in potatoes also add salt ,mix well.Then add peanuts and cook nicely on low heat .The potatoes should be roasted on a high medium flame. Now add sabudana to the potatoes and mix well.Cover and cook for 5-7 min.Now uncover and add chopped coriander. It is ready to serve.

Step 3

Mix all the ingredients together and the raita is ready.

Step 4

Heat ghee in a pan and add kuttu atta ,roast on low heat , stirring continously so that it doesn’t burn. When it becomes brown then add water ,mix well and then add sugar.Mix well stirring continously until the ghee comes out . The halwa is ready.
