#Holi26 Some traditional dishes are definitely made on this festival of Holi. I have made delicious colourful bitter gourds by giving a little twist to the recipe, which you can store for a long time.

Step 1

Add ghee and salt to the flour and mix well. Divide it into 4 parts.

Step 2

Add spinach to one part and knead the dough. Add beetroot to the other.

Step 3

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and cumin seeds to one part, add water, and knead the dough. Knead the other part with just water (make sure the dough is not too stiff; knead it softly). Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Now, make four equal balls of different colors and roll them into slightly thick rotis.

Step 5

Sprinkle a little oil and parotta between the prepared rotis and place them on top of each other. Roll them out lightly with your hands and roll them tightly. Cut a single ball with a knife, press them down with your hands, and shape them into a round shape.

Step 6

Now, roll out the dough and make a cut in the middle lengthwise with a knife, and join the edges to form a bitter gourd.

Step 7

Make bitter gourds using all the balls in the same way. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add a few prepared bitter gourds and turn them over. Bake until golden brown on all sides.

Step 8

Once the prepared bitter gourd has cooled, store it in an airtight container. Eat and serve it whenever you like. This bitter gourd chaat tastes delicious. Enjoy it.
