Step 1

Grate the boiled potatoes and put them in a large bowl. Now add rice flour, cornstarch, salt to taste, and chili flakes, mix well, and prepare a dough.

Step 3

Now, take the prepared dough and shape it into small or large patties according to your preference to make the tikkis.

Step 4

Heat the oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add the patties one by one for frying. Fry as many patties as can fit in the pan at once. We need to fry the patties over medium to low heat. When the patties are 70% cooked, remove them and place them on a separate plate. Now, heat the oil again until it’s very hot.

Step 5

We will lightly press the patties with the help of a spatula so that we can free up the space between them and they become very crispy. Now, we will put these patties in the heated oil and fry them on high heat.

Step 6

Now put the prepared tikkis in both the sides and then add beaten curd, green chutney, sweet and sour chutney and garnish it with it and also add some chaat masala on top. We will try our delicious spicy potato curry and market style tikkis.
