Malpua is a traditional Indian sweet pancake, very popular during festivals like Holi and Ramadan. Crispy from outside, soft inside, and soaked in sugar syrup – pure indulgence! #Holi26

Step 1

Prepare Sugar Syrup: Boil sugar + water for 4–5 minutes until slightly sticky (1-string consistency not required). Add cardamom & saffron. Keep warm.

Step 2

Make Batter: Mix maida, suji, milk powder, sugar, elaichi & baking soda.

Step 3

Add milk gradually to make a smooth, lump-free batter (like dosa batter). Rest for 10–15 minutes.

Step 4

Fry Malpua: Heat ghee in a pan. Pour one small ladle of batter.

Step 5

Cook on medium flame until golden & crisp from both sides.

Step 6

Soak: Immediately dip hot malpua in warm sugar syrup for 1–2 minutes.

Step 7

Serve: Garnish with chopped pistachios and serve
