Step 1

Heat a pan on low heat . In a mixing bowl combine together mashed potatoes , salt , arrowroot powder , ginger green chillies and coriander , mix nicely with your hands , but gently .

Step 2

In another bowl mix together chopped almonds , kishmish and chironji , for stuffing .

Step 3

Now make equal sized balls from the potato mixture .

Step 4

Flatten each ball in your palm , place some stuffing in the center and seal it properly from all the sides .

Step 5

Make it smooth from outside with the help of some water . Give it the shape of a tikki .

Step 6

Place the tikki in the hot pan , drizzle some oil on top and also on the sides

Step 7

Roast the tikki from both the sides , until it becomes light brown and crispy from outside .

Step 8

When it is done , take it out on a plate .

Step 9

In this way prepare all the tikki .Take a plate and place the tikki in the center . Break the tikki a little with a spoon .

Step 10

Now pour the curd on top . Sprinkle some jeera powder on top .

Step 11

Garnish with green chutney , amchur chutney , chopped coriander and pomegranate kernels .
