Step 1

Soak chana dal for 4 to 5 hours. Grind it in a blender .

Step 2

In a pan heat some oil. Add jeera fennel seeds,kalonji,hing.

Step 3

When done Add in salt turmeric powder and red chilli powder.

Step 4

Add blended dal and mustard we’ll. Cook till water evaporates . Cool down the mixture.

Step 5

Take a small portion of wheat dough. Fill in the dal mix. Seal edges and roll out in small discs.

Step 6

Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the puris till crisp and golden on both sides. Serve with any chutney or aloo sabzi.
