#Curries Black gram vegetable is a very tasty and healthy vegetable. I have made gravy from it and it is very tasty.
Wash black gram, soak it and keep it overnight.Put the soaked gram and potatoes in the cooker and cook till 4 whistles and keep it aside.
Fry chopped onion, green chilli and green coriander and after it cools down, add curd and grind it.
Put oil in a pan, add ground masala, add tomato paste and fry for 2 minutes.
Fry tomatoes well, add dry spices and ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 more minutes.
Once the spices are roasted well, add ground onion paste and fry well for 10 minutes.
Add boiled gram and let it cook for 5 minutes.After 5 minutes, add chopped boiled potatoes and let it cook for 5 to 8 minutes on low flame.
Prepare the gravy as per your choice, add green coriander, green chillies, garam masala and lemon juice and cook on low flame for 5 minutes and then turn off the gas.
Serve seven servings of hot black gram and potato curry with parathas or puris.
