Step 1

Soak chana dal for 4 hours. Drain water.

Step 2

Add ginger green chilli and 1 tsp jeera. Make a coarse paste.

Step 3

Add salt turmeric powder Red chilli powder Jeera hing and coriander leaves and mix well

Step 4

Heat oil

Step 5

Drop small balls of the paste in oil. Deep fry till golden and crisp on all sides

Step 6

Serve with chutneys and tea.
