Carrot and Beetroot Soup

#Carrot A healthy and flavoured soup made with carrots beetroot, tomatoes and onions. It is a tasty appetizer or meal starter recipe which can be served before meal.

Step 1

Peel wash and Chop all vegetables. Cut it in small pieces.

Step 2

Put all vegetables in pressure cooker. Add 1 glass water. Add all whole masale cardamom, cinnamom stick, black pepper seeds and cloves. Mix salt in it. Pressure cook till 7-8 whistles. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically.

Step 3

When this mixture comes to room temperature grind it in a mixer to a smooth fine paste.

Step 4

Sieve this mixture in a sieve and remove roughage.

Step 5

Heat butter in a pan. Add this paste in it and let it simmer on low flame till it is cooked.

Step 6

Add cumin seeds powder and mix. Adjust the quantity of salt in it.

Step 7

Cut bread slice in pieces. Heat oil in a wok. Deep fry bread pieces till golden brown colour.

Step 8

Pour soup in a bowl. Add bread pieces and little butter. Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
