Step 1
Dry roast black sesame seeds on low-medium flame for 2-3 minutes.

Keep aside and let the sesame seeds cool down.

Take plastic sheet, butter paper, parchment paper or foil paper, and grease it.

Heat a pan and pour less than ¼ cup water and gud powder in it to melt it.
Step 5
Cook till you get a thick syrup. Add a tablespoon of ghee.

Add roasted sesame seeds and cardamom powder in the jaggery syrup and mix well.

Transfer to the greased paper or silicon sheet .

Cover with a plastic wrap and press or roll it to make make a thin layer gud papadi

Separate from the sheet and garnish with nuts and coconut slices .

Or Let it set and cut it into pieces of desired shape and size.
