Step 1

First add wheat flour, rava, desiccated coconut powder, sugar powder, cardamom powder and fennel crushed in a bowl and mix well. Now add milk malai / cream, mashed ripe banana and add milk little by little and mix well. Now cover this mixture with a lid and let it rest for 1 hour.

Step 2

Now we will make sugar syrup. To do this, add sugar and water in a pan, mix and let the gas heat over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves. Now add cardamom powder and saffron string in this syrup and mix it to make a one string syrup and turn off the gas flame.

Step 3

Now add milk or water again as required in the mixture and make a batter that can be beaten with a spoon. Then heat the ghee in a pan and add the mixture made with a round spoon to it. On a low to medium flame of the gas, the edges of the malpua turn golden, so flip the other side and fry until golden brown on both sides.

Step 4

Now add this prepared hot malpua dip in warm sugar syrup and soak the banana malpua on both sides for 2 minutes or till it absorbs sugar syrup.

Step 5

Now our Banana Malpua is ready to serve. Garnished with almonds and pistachio slices. This malpua can also be served with Rabdi. Enjoy your Holi Festival.
