Aloo Poha Tikki

#Aloo Aloo Poha Tikki is a popular teatime snack made with flattened rice, peanuts, potatoes, onions, and spices. Peanuts are usually added to poha preparation and are a good source of antioxidants and protein.

Step 1

Dry roast peanuts in a wok. Cool it and grind coarsely in a mixer.

Step 2

Wash flattened rice in running water 2-3 times and keep it in a colander. Peel and mash boiled potatoes. Mix wet poha, grind peanuts and potatoes in a mixing bowl.

Step 3

Add chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chili, and grated ginger. Add salt, red chili powder, shahi kitchen masala, and royal masala and mix well.

Step 4

Now divide the dough into 8 equal parts and shape them as balls. Then flatten it and make round tikkis.

Step 5

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Put Kebabs in it and deep fry till crispy golden brown colour. Flip the side and fry from the other side also.

Step 6

Remove it to a plate.

Step 7

Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup garnished with salad.
