Dry Fruits Payesh

Dry Fruits Payesh is a rich and creamy Indian dessert made by slow-cooking recipe. it is especially enjoyed during festivals, puja, and winter days.

Step 1

Heat ghee in a pan, lightly roast all dry fruits. Keep aside.

Step 2

In another heavy pan, boil milk on low flame till it reduces slightly.

Step 3

Add soaked rice and cook, stirring occasionally, till rice is soft.

Step 4

Add batasha or sugar candy and mix well.

Step 5

Add roasted dry fruits and saffron.

Step 6

Cook for 5–7 minutes till payesh becomes creamy. Then add condence milk.

Step 7

Switch off flame and add cardamom powder.
