Til Rose Jalebi

#SLC  A bigger version of jalebi with til and Gulab in the batter and served as it is or with Rabri

Step 1

Add flour and curd in a bowl and mix well

Step 2

Add til ,baking soda and 2tablespoon of water

Step 3

Mix thoroughly making the batter of dropping consistency

Step 4

Set aside for 10minutes

Step 5

Add rose water

Step 6

Boil one cup water with 2cups of sugar ,simmer for some time ,add crushed cardamom and rose petals to it

Step 7

The sugar syrup is ready

Step 8

Take a piping bag with a simple nozzle and add the batter in it (one can use a squeeze bottle too )

Heat oil in a pan ,medium hot

Step 10

Squeeze the piping bag to get round spirals with the batter,overlapping too if a design wanted, continue to make a large sized jaleba as seen in the picture

Step 11

When one side is cooked overturn carefully and cook the other side to a golden color

Step 12

Lower flame and let it cook for 1minute to make the jaleba crisp

Step 13

Take it out and drop it immediately in the warm sugar syrup for about 1minute so that it may soak the syrup

Step 14

It is ready to be served as it is or put some Rabri on it

Step 15

Sprinkle some rose petals and serve hot
