Carrot pudding

Soak grated carrots with cashewnuts and 1cup milk and leave for few minutes
Brush oil on the inside of the bowls
Add the carrot mixture in a blender and blend thoroughly
Pour in a thick bottomed pan or kadai
Add cornflour,milk powder ,sugar and remaining cup of milk
Mix thoroughly with a beater
Place on moderate fire and cook
keep mixing continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom
Continue till it is thick enough to set
Immediately pour in the bowls and let it cool
Keep in fridge for 2-3 hours
Overturn on a serving plate and tap softly(the brushed oil will make it slip out
Repeat with the other pudding bowls too

Top with a glazed cherry
