Step 1

Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Now add the washed chicken pieces and fry them.

Step 3

Fry the chicken pieces until they turn light light brown and then remove them from the oil.

Step 4

Heat 2 more spoons of oil in the same pan and add whole garam masala.

Step 5

Now add onion paste, ginger garlic paste and mix.

Step 6

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and chicken masala powder.

Step 7

Add salt and saute the masala till it releases oil.

Step 8

Now add fried chicken pieces in it, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes on high heat.

Step 9

Add some water, cover and cook till soft.

Step 10

Serve bihari desi chicken curry with pulao.
