Hariyali Paneer

Hariyali Paneer, also known as Green Paneer Curry, is a North Indian dish that combines the richness of paneer with the freshness of herbs. The green masala is made using coriander, mint, spinach, green chilies, and ginger, giving the curry a bright flavor profile. Cashews and yogurt are often added for creaminess, balancing the heat of the chilies.
This dish is popular in Indian restaurants but can easily be made at home. It’s lighter than paneer butter masala yet equally satisfying. Its vibrant green color makes it visually appealing, while the nutrition from leafy greens makes it a healthier paneer curry option.

Step 1

Blanch spinach in hot water for 2 minutes, then blend with coriander, mint, green chilies, ginger, garlic, and cashews to make a smooth paste.
