Til Mawa Laddoo

It is made from sesame seeds, mawa, and jaggery, which makes it healthy and tasty. These ladoos provide warmth and energy during cold weather. Til Mawa Ladoo is especially prepared during Makar Sankranti. The rich flavor of mawa and the crunch of til make it delicious.

Step 1

Dry roast the sesame seeds on low flame till they turn light golden and give a nice aroma. Let them cool slightly and grind coarsely.

Step 2

Heat ghee in a pan and roast the mawa till it becomes soft and light golden.

Step 3

Add grated jaggery to the mawa and cook on low flame till it melts completely.

Step 4

Now add ground sesame seeds, cardamom powder, and dry fruits. Mix well.

Step 5

Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool slightly.

Step 6

Grease your palms with ghee and shape the mixture into small ladoos.
