For me, Sankranti begins in the kitchen with Tilgul Ice cream🪁 तिळगुळ घ्या गोड गोड बोला! “Tilgul Ice cream”, a new flavour that might just end up on your favourites list! The nutty sesame with a vague hint of bitterness, and the earthy sweetness of the jaggery all packaged into a creamy, cold and delicious ice-cream. As you take in bite after bite, you’ll get the crunch from the nuts and scattered bits of sesame seeds chikki.

Step 1

Add 1 cup cream in a bowl and whisk it till you see soft peak.

Step 2

Add condensed milk, tilgul mixture, chopped nuts and mix well.

Step 3

Pour Ice-cream mix into airtight box and sprinkle some more sesame seeds.

Step 4

4) Refrigerate overnight, and let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving, and then scoop out and served this delicious treat.
