Potato Tikki Pav

#BP26 Spicy shallow fry potato tikki Pav, loaded with creamy sauces, crunchy veggies and gooey vegetables is a fusion mix of Indian Street food and western slider idea. It is stuffed between Ladi pav and then baked till perfection.

Step 1

Wash, peel and chop onion, coriander leaves and green chilli. Grate ginger.

Step 2

Mash boiled potatoes in a mixing bowl. Add all dry masale ingredients, mashed bread slices, chopped coriander leaves, green chilli, grated ginger,lemon juice and mix well and make a dough.

Step 3

Divide the dough in 4 equal parts and shape them round tikkis.

Step 4

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Deep fry all tikkis till crispie golden brown colour from both sides.

Step 5

Slit the Ladi pav between centre. Shallow fry with butter from both sides

Step 6

Now place onion slices over base side of pav. Then place tikki, grated cheese over it. Place tomato and cucumber slices. Now place the upper portion of Ladi pav over it. Press gently with spetula.

Step 7

Serve hot with Green chutney.
