Mom’s Sattu Ladoo
Some of my sweetest childhood memories begin in the kitchen, where Mom would lovingly roast sattu in ghee, filling the house with its warm, comforting aroma. She would add dates, almonds, cashews, seeds, and a touch of cardamom, carefully shaping each laddoo with her hands. To me, they were simply delicious. To her, they were a quiet way of caring for me. She never called them “healthy snacks.” She simply smiled and said, *”Have one every day—it will keep you strong.”* Years later, I understand that the most important ingredient was never the sattu, the nuts, or the ghee. It was her love. #MKN26 Now, every time I make these laddoos, I’m not just following a recipe—I’m carrying forward a little piece of my childhood and a tradition of love, one laddoo at a time.
