Step 1

Wash and finely chop the methi leaves. In a bowl, combine wheat flour, methi leaves, cumin, chili powder, turmeric, salt, and 1 tsp oil.

Step 2

Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough. Rest the dough for 10–15 minutes.

Step 3

Divide into 4 equal portions and roll into parathas. Cook on a hot tawa, applying a little oil/ghee on both sides until golden brown.
