Step 1

Take rajma and whole black urad, clean with plain water and soak for five hours.

Step 2

Drain the water completely and add into the pressure cooker add two cups of water and cook for five whistles. Remove and transfer to a bowl.

Step 3

Keep a deep pan on medium heat and add butter, ginger garlic paste,cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, cumin seeds let it split, add the onion and tomato paste.Mix well. Let it cook for five minutes.

Step 4

Then add red chilli powder, coriander powder,gram masala powder and amchur powder mix well. Cook for five minutes. Then add the cooked dal and salt. Mix well. Cook for five minutes. Dal makhani is ready.

Step 5

Transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle kasoori methi and little cream. Very tasty dal makhani is ready to serve.Enjoy with ghee rice,roti and phulkas.
