Wash brown rice and let it dry

Roast moong dal in pan and wash and let it dry

Cut the veggies

Step 4

In a pan heat ghee, add vegetables or potato, tomato and carrot and cook till soft, add green chilli, ginger paste with red chilli powder mixed in little water

Step 5

Add moong dal and brown rice

Step 6

Mix well, add salt

Step 7

Add hot water and cover to cook for 20 mins

Step 8

Check doneness

Step 9

Drizzle ghee

Step 10

Serve hot
