Black Til Gud Papadi

#SLC The beginning of every year sees a major comeback of til (sesame seeds) in various forms of snacks and sweets. Til gur papdi recipe needs just few ingredients – til and gur. Also, it can be made in all of 10 minutes. It is just the healthy and crunchy munchies you need this winter .i used black sesame seeds to give it unique look.

Step 1

Dry roast black sesame seeds on low-medium flame for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2

Keep aside and let the sesame seeds cool down.

Step 3

Take plastic sheet, butter paper, parchment paper or foil paper, and grease it.

Step 4

Heat a pan and pour less than ¼ cup water and gud powder in it to melt it.

Step 5

Cook till you get a thick syrup. Add a tablespoon of ghee.

Step 6

Add roasted sesame seeds and cardamom powder in the jaggery syrup and mix well.

Step 7

Transfer to the greased paper or silicon sheet .

Step 8

Cover with a plastic wrap and press or roll it to make make a thin layer gud papadi

Step 9

Separate from the sheet and garnish with nuts and coconut slices .

Step 10

Or Let it set and cut it into pieces of desired shape and size.
