Step 1

First, add a glass of water to the steamer and heat it. Place a stand in it and apply oil to a plate or container.

Step 2

Add salt to the fermented khira overnight and mix well. Now divide the khira into three parts. Add two equal parts and two spoons of green chutney to one part and mix well. Add a pinch of baking soda to one part and mix well and add to a greased plate and put in a steamer and steam for five minutes.

Step 3

After five minutes, add another layer of chutney-added kheer on top of the first layer. And let it sit for five minutes. After five minutes, add white-colored kheer again in the same way and let it sit for five minutes. (Check with a toothpick whether the dhokla is ready or not.) The dhokla is ready… Remove from the steamer and let it cool for ten minutes.

Step 4

For the filling: When the oil is hot, roast the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and sesame seeds and add the neem. Add a pinch of asafoetida and pour this filling over the prepared dhokla. The sandwich dhokla is ready.
