Step 1

Transfer the 200 gm pack of rava mix in a mixing bowl. Add sour curd and mix. Keep batter for 2 minutes. Again stir the batter and if required add 2 tb sp curd more if the batter is thick . I added 2 to sp

Grease the idli mould and pour 2 tb sp mixture in each mould.

Step 3

Steam it for 12 minutes.Then after 15 minutes demould idlis.

Step 4

Wash, peel and chop onion, tomato, ginger. Collect all the ingredients.

Step 5

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Add urad dal and whole red chilli and saute for 1 minute.

Step 6

Now add chopped onions and ginger and saute for 2 minutes.Then add chopped tomatoes and salt and cook till tomato get mashy. Let it cool.

Step 7

Transfer it in a mixer. Add salt, red chilli powder and grind it to a smooth paste. Transfer it in a bowl.

Step 8

Heat cooking oil in a wok. Add mustard seeds and when Mustard seeds splutter Add asafoetida and whole red chilli and curry leaves.

Step 9

Pour this tempering on grinded chutney.

Step 10

Serve with idli.
