Step 1

Peel and chop mangoes, then blend into a smooth puree. In a pan, combine mango pulp, sugar, and water. Cook on medium heat, stirring continuously.

Cook until it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan (about 15–20 minutes).

Step 3

Mix in lemon juice to enhance flavor and help preservation.

Step 4

Let it cool, then transfer to a clean glass jar. Refrigerate.
