Curd Rice

Step 1

All the ingredients have to be collected, now mix the curd and rice in a big vessel and then add salt to it.

Step 2

Now the tadka has to be applied. To apply the tadka, heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds in it. When they start spluttering, add urad dal and fry until they turn golden brown. Add curry leaves and dry red chilli cut into two pieces.

Step 3

Fry it for a minute. Switch off the gas and let the tadka cool to room temperature.

Step 4

Pour tadka over it. Now mix well and serve, it is very tasty and healthy too.
