Vrat ki Makhana Moongphali Kadhi

#cnv26 Vrat ki makhanma- moongphali kadhi is traditional kadhi recipe served with vrat rice .All fasting ingredients has used for this kadhi like , water chestnut flour, Makhana powder- Peanut powder ,rock salt, red chilli powder ,cinnamon powder and yogurt. Vrat ki makhanma- moongphali kadhi can be served for bhog .

Step 1

Add water chestnut flour, Makhana powder- Peanut powder ,rock salt, red chilli powder and cinnamon powder to yogurt and whisk well.

Step 2

Add four cups of water and mix well.

Step 3

Heat ghee in a kadai.Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds dry red chillies and curry leaves.

Step 4

Sauté till the cumin seeds splutter, add the yogurt mixture and cook till it thickens slightly.

Step 5

Add sugar, salt and mix. Simmer for five minutes.

Step 6

Add fried moongphali,fried lotus seeds and cook for 2 minutes more.

Step 7

Garnish with coriander leaves .serve with sanwat –veg rice.
