Step 1
Take a kadai, turn on gas on a medium flame, add ghee, as it melts, add rava, stir continuously, till it’s aroma comes, make sure the colour of the rava should not change.
Step 2
Now add dryfruits, mix well, add elaichi jaifal powder, mix well.
Step 3
Now turn off gas, make 3 portions of roasted rava.
Step 4
Again put a kadai on gas, add 1 cup of rava, add 1/2 cup milk, mix well, stir well, when it thickens, add 3/4 cup sugar, add saffron colour, mix well, when ghee appears on the sides of kadai, turn off gas.
Step 5
Take a mould of your choice, grease it with ghee..
Step 6
Add saffron sheera in mould, keep aside to set it..
Step 7
Again put a kadai on gas, add 1 cup of rava, add 1/2 cup milk, mix well, stir well, when it thickens, add 3/4 cup sugar, mix well, when ghee appears on the sides of kadai, turn off gas..
Step 8
Add plain white colour sheera on saffron sheera, set properly, keep aside..
Step 9
Again put a kadai on gas, add 1 cup of rava, add 1/2 cup milk, mix well, stir well, when it thickens, add 3/4 cup sugar, add green colour, mix well, when ghee appears on the sides of kadai, turn off gas..
Step 10
Add plain green sheera on white sheera, set properly, keep aside.
Step 11
Make sure it’s cool and set properly, now demold it, and serve in a plate, as saffron sheera on top and white sheera in between, green sheera at the bottom.
Step 12
Garnish with grated dryfruits..
