Step 1

In a bowl, lightly crush corn kernels and keep the rest whole.

Step 2

Add onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin seeds, and salt.

Step 3

Mix in besan and rice flour.

Step 4

Combine everything to form a thick mixture. Add very little water only if required.

Step 5

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 6

Drop small portions of the mixture into the hot oil.

Step 7

Fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy.

Step 8

Serve hot with tomato ketchup, green chutney, or tea.
