Thandai Bhapa Doi
#Holi26 Bhapa Doi is a traditional sweet from West Bengal. We can call it Indian avatar of cheese cake. This delectable sweet is prepared from hung curd and condensed milk along with cardamom, saffron etc. ‘Bhapa’ means ‘steamed’ and ‘Doi’ means dahi/curd. This traditional and authentic Bengali sweet is usually served after meals. Apart from traditional Bhapa doi, you can prepare various flavoured bhapa doi by adding fruit puree etc. Bhapa doi tastes best when chilled and perfect as a summer dessert.
