Aloo Tuk

#Aloo Aloo Tuk is a Sindhi recipe. It is made from baby potatoes or potatoes. You can also eat it as a snack. I have not removed the peel of the potatoes. I have made it like this. You can also make it by removing the peel.

Step 1

Wash the potatoes thoroughly with water. Then wipe them with a cloth. Now cut them into two parts.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan. Now fry the potatoes. Do not make them too brown because we have to fry them again.

Step 3

Now fry them and take them out. When they cool down, press each potato with the help of a bowl. Now fry the pressed potatoes again till they become golden brown.

Step 4

Mix all the spices like salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder, garam masala powder, roasted cumin seeds in a plate.

Step 5

Now remove the extra oil from the pan and fry cumin seeds in the same pan. Now put all the pressed potatoes in the pan.

Step 6

Put all the spices on top and stir gently otherwise the potatoes will break. Now the potato tuk is ready. Garnish with green coriander.
