Step 1
Dry roast the sesame seeds in a heavy-bottom pan on low heat for 4–5 minutes until they become aromatic and slightly golden. Let them cool completely, then grind them coarsely.

Heat 1 tbsp ghee in the same pan and roast the chopped almonds, cashews, and pistachios for 1–2 minutes. Remove and keep aside.

Add the remaining ghee and crumble the mawa into the pan. Roast on low flame for 5–7 minutes until it turns light golden and releases a pleasant aroma.

Switch off the heat and allow the mawa to cool slightly for 2–3 minutes.

Add the grated jaggery and mix continuously until it melts with the warmth of the mawa.

Stir in the roasted sesame seeds, roasted dry fruits, raisins, and cardamom powder. Mix everything thoroughly.

While the mixture is still warm, grease your palms with a little ghee and shape the mixture into medium-sized laddu.
