#Aloo Potato halwa can be eaten during fasting periods and can also be made for special occasions or as an everyday treat. It is not only delicious but also nutritious because it is made using jaggery, dates, and honey.

Step 1

Peel and grate the potatoes.

Step 2

Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed or non-stick pan and add the grated potatoes.

Step 3

Roast on low to medium heat, stirring continuously with a spoon, until they turn light brown. Add the nuts and dates while roasting. When the potatoes start to leave the bottom of the pan, add the milk little by little, stirring continuously.

Step 4

Now add the jaggery powder and roast, stirring continuously. Then add the honey and roast until the halwa becomes uniform in consistency. (Adding milk makes the halwa delicious and keeps it soft.)

Step 5

Serve the prepared potato halwa hot.
