#modak Modak or Modakam also known as Kozhakattai in Tamil is an Indian sweet popular in many Indian states and cultures. According to Hindu beliefs, it is considered as one of the favourite dishes of Lord Ganesh and offered as a prasad. Usually modak is prepared from rice flour ( for outer layer ) and coconut, jaggery. (For stuffing) and then steamed, which is known as Ukadiche Modak but apart from this modak many other varieties of modak are prepared and offered as prasad. Today I have prepared peanut butter modaks which need not any cooking and can be prepared in a jiffy, moreover it’s loved by kids too.
