#kj6 Panchamrit as its name suggests, is prepared from five ingredients which are milk, curd, honey, mishri and ghee. Additionally dry fruits, fox nuts, tulsi leaves (holy basil) are also added. This is one of Lord Krishna’s favourite prasad. In Sanskrit, panch means five and amrit means nectar, which is considered as the drink of God. Panchamrit is believed to be purifying and nourishing. Apart from Janmashtmi Prasad it is used in the various pujas and given as a prasad.
