Step 1

Prepare three separate doughs: Mix ingredients for the green layer and knead a firm dough.

Step 2

Mix ingredients for the white layer and knead a firm dough.

Step 3

Mix ingredients for the pink layer and knead a firm dough.

Step 4

Cover and rest all three doughs for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Roll each dough into a thin rectangular sheet of equal size.

Step 6

Place the white sheet over the pink sheet and the green sheet on top. Press gently.

Step 7

Roll tightly into a log and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes.

Step 8

Cut the log into thick slices and lightly roll each slice.

Step 9

Prick with a fork to prevent puffing.

Step 10

Deep fry on low-medium heat until crisp and golden.

Step 11

Drain on a paper towel and let them cool completely.

Step 12

Serve with mint chutney, yogurt dip
