Spinach Corn Sandwich

Step 1

In moderately heated pan add butter, add garlic and sauté for few seconds, then add corn kernels and sauté under medium flame by adding slight salt and sauté for around 2 minutes.

Step 2

Then add chopped spinach and sauté for few seconds under low flame, spinach shrinks and let spinach cook nicely.

Step 3

Add maida and sauté for 1 minute till you get the aroma and then add milk, salt, pepper powder, chilli flakes, mix well and let it cook for 2-3 minutes by stirring continuously till mixture thickens and turns creamy. Add grated cheese (1 cube)and allow cheese to melt.

Step 4

Cook for around 2 minutes and the filling is done. Transfer to a plate and allow to cool. Keep aside.

Step 5

Take bread slices, apply butter on any one side, then spread the filling evenly , add grated cheese and then top it with another slice keeping the butter side outward and press gently.

Step 6

Toast in sandwich maker which take few minutes. Alternatively it can be toasted on tawa also, toast on both sides till crisp and golden brown.

Step 7

Cut diagonally and Serve this yummy and creamy Sandwich with tea / coffee.
