Singhada (Chestnut Flour) Cake

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine desi ghee and brown sugar powder. Mix well until smooth.

Step 2

Add ½ cup of lukewarm milk and(Water Chestnut Flour

Step 3

Sift together the water chestnut flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

Step 4

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture while stirring continuously.

Step 5

Pour in the remaining milk and mix to form a smooth batter.

Step 6

Fold in the chopped almonds.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes.

Step 8

Grease a cake tin and line it with butter paper.

Step 9

Pour the prepared batter into the tin and sprinkle some chopped almonds on top.

Step 10

Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
