Ragi Flour Halwa

Today I recreated Mother’s blissful Ragi flour Halwa made during Jeevitputrika — healthy, soulful, and filled with love in every bite. #MD26

Step 1

Heat ghee in a pan and roast the ragi flour on low flame for 4-5 minutes until aromatic.

Step 2

Add chopped nuts Almonds, cashew and raisins saute lightly.

Step 3

In another Bowl dissolve jaggery powder in warm milk or water.

Step 4

Slowly pour the Liquid in to the roasted ragi flour while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Step 5

Cook on low flame until thick and glossy.

Step 6

Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 7

Garnish with nuts and serve warm.
