My father’s favorite paneer paratha is more than just a meal—it’s a reminder of comforting family breakfasts and cherished moments together. Soft, stuffed with flavorful paneer, and served with love, this simple dish always brought a smile to his face. Every time I make it, it feels like a beautiful way of keeping those precious memories alive.

Step 1

Mix flour, salt, and oil. Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough. Cover and rest for 20 minutes.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine grated paneer with coriander, green chillies, ginger, cumin powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, amchur, and salt.

Step 3

Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll one portion into a small disc, place a generous amount of paneer filling in the center, and seal the edges.

Step 4

Gently roll into a paratha, dusting with flour if needed.

Step 5

Cook on a hot tawa until golden spots appear on both sides. Apply ghee or butter and cook until crisp and evenly browned.

Step 6

Serve hot with curd, pickle, butter, or mint chutney.

Step 7

Tip: Squeeze out any excess moisture from the paneer before mixing the filling to prevent the parathas from breaking.
