Lasode/ Gunda ka Achar

Step 1

Wash the lisode thoroughly and boil them with salt and turmeric powder until slightly tender.

Step 2

Drain the water completely and allow them to cool and dry.

Step 3

Coarsely crush fennel seeds and methi dana.

Step 4

Heat mustard oil until smoky, then let it cool slightly.

Step 5

Add black mustard seeds, methi dana, fennel seeds, ajwain, and hing to the oil.

Step 6

Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, crushed spices, and grated raw mango.

Step 7

Add the boiled lisode and coat them well with the prepared masala.

Step 8

Transfer the pickle to a clean, dry glass jar.

Step 9

Keep the jar in sunlight for 2–3 days, stirring once daily for better flavor.

Step 10

Spicy and flavorful homemade Lisode Ka Achar is ready to serve.
