Peel and grate the raw papaya. Squeeze out the excess water.

Heat ghee in a pan and add the grated raw papaya.

Cook on medium heat until the papaya becomes soft and its moisture evaporates.

Add desiccated coconut and cook for 2–3 minutes.

Add milk powder and powdered sugar. Mix well and cook until the mixture becomes thick and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Add cardamom powder, chopped nuts, and raisins. Mix everything well.

Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Grease your palms with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small laddus.

Garnish with chopped pistachios.
