Flaxseed Gond Dryfruits Ladoo

Step 1

Dry roast flaxseed in a heavy pan on low flame for 5 minutes until they crackle and smell nutty let them cool completely

Step 2

Grind flaxseed to a coarse powder

Step 3

Heat 3 tbsp of deshi ghee in the same pan on medium heat fry gond in a small batches until the pieces puff up and turn crispy remove let them cool and crush them finely

Step 4

In the same pan add the remaining ghee and roast whole wheat flour on low heat until it changes the colour and gives off a rich aroma

Step 5

Roast chopped nuts

Step 6

Now in a seperate pan melt jaggery with half cup of water and some deshi ghee over low heat until it completely dissolves and form a sticky syrup

Step 7

Now in a large mixing bowl combine the roasted wheat flour coarsely ground Flaxseed crushed gond and ginger powder cardamom powder grated dry coconut powder dryfruits and seeds pour the hot jaggery syrup into the mixture and stir well

Step 8

While the mixture is still warm enough to handle grease your palms with a little ghee and shape them into medium sized laddoos

Step 9

I made 12 laddoos out of this mixture

Let the laddoos cool completely then store them in an airtight container and enjoy one laddoo daily in the morning breakfast .
