Step 1

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add cinnamon and cloves for tempering, and roast the broken wheat (fada) in the ghee until it turns golden brown. Meanwhile, heat water separately.

Step 2

​Once roasted, add the hot water, close the pressure cooker, and let it cook for 5 whistles before turning off the heat. After 15 minutes, check if the broken wheat is well-cooked, then add sugar and stir well

Step 3

​Once everything is properly mixed and the ghee begins to separate add cardamom powder cashews almonds and raisins (Lightly roast the cashews and almonds in ghee beforehand)

Step 4

​Transfer to a serving bowl garnish and serve hot. This Fada Lapsi is extremely delicious and rich in nutrition
